Tyler Babich is a current law student at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. After growing up in Rockville, he earned his B.A. at the University of Maryland - College Park along with a minor in Asian American Studies. In between undergrad and law school, he taught at a small Catholic school in Gaithersburg. Tyler is still exploring career paths in public service before he graduates with a J.D. in 2018. He hopes to make use of a Certificate in Cybersecurity & Crisis Management or his fascination with Space Law.

Tyler joined APABA-MD because he values community. Whatever aspect initially brings a group together the group members are always empowered by their opportunity to learn from each other, share their resources, and work together. In addition to APABA-MD, Tyler is involved with the Filipino American Lawyers Association of DC (FALA-DC), the University of Maryland Asian Pacific American Alumni Network (APAAN-UMD) and multiple groups within the law school.
